The celebrations

Four moments over a few days

Each one is short on ceremony and long on time together.

Times, the order of days, and dress notes will follow once the date is set. Everything below is what we can already promise.

How many days to plan for We will confirm how many days to plan for once the date is fixed.

  1. हल्दी

    Haldi

Turmeric, laughter, and clothes you do not mind staining.

A daytime ritual where family and friends take turns painting us with turmeric paste. It is meant to bring luck and a glow, and it mostly brings laughter.

It is messy, warm, and very yellow. Wear something you are happy to sacrifice.

No steps to learn in advance. Willingness is enough.

  3. विवाह

    Ceremony

A short Hindu ceremony, explained as we go.

The rituals are kept brief on purpose. The meaning is not.
